NC GreenPower

Improving the Environment in Wilmington & Along the NC Coast

As a nonprofit that has been committed to improving the quality of the NC environment since 2003, NC GreenPower is always looking for individuals to work with us to help raise money for renewable energy and carbon offset programs along the NC coast and beyond.

We connect individuals to programs that they may have not been able to work with otherwise. If you are interested in working for a nonprofit whose main goal is to raise awareness for environmental issues in NC, we invite you to discover NC GreenPower.

Get Involved in Wilmington, NC

From volunteering to fundraising to donations, there are various actions you can take to help improve the environment in Wilmington:

  1. Donate to support solar schools and renewable energy or our carbon offset projects. On our donation page or on our fundraising site my.ncgreenpower.org, individuals may contribute as little as $4 per month to be split evenly with $2 adding one block of 50 kilowatt-hours of renewable energy to the electric supply and $2 supporting the installation of solar PV demonstration projects at North Carolina K-12 schools, or $4 can be contributed to fund the mitigation of 1,000 pounds of greenhouse gases.
  2. Start your own fundraising project in Wilmington. When you go to my.ncgreenpower.org, you can create a profile and launch a fundraising campaign to raise money for renewable energy and carbon offset projects in Wilmington and along the NC coast.
