NC GreenPower would like to take the opportunity to give special thanks to volunteers who helped with recent events across the state, especially during Earth Month. The Speakers Bureau would not be possible without your valued support and dedication to North Carolina’s environmental future! Click here for a list of upcoming NC GreenPower events.
If you are not currently a Speakers Bureau volunteer but are interested in becoming one, NC GreenPower will be holding speaker trainings in the Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh areas in the coming months. If you are interested in being trained and becoming a member of the Speakers Bureau, please contact Katie Shepherd . |

On July 9, the Triangle Sustainability Café was jointly hosted by NC GreenPower, and its parent company Advanced Energy. Participants had the opportunity to explore what was happening with North Carolina's landmark NC GreenPower program and its efforts to spur more development of renewable energy resources in our state. Café attendees also learned how to reduce home energy use from Advanced Energy presenters and saw many great ways that NC businesses are reducing the energy intensity of the products they produce. The event ended with a lively networking session.
The Sustainability Cafe is a regular offering of the NC Sustainable Business Council, an organization dedicated to providing business leadership for change toward an environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable future in North Carolina. NCSBC provides a forum for business professionals to connect, learn, collaborate, and demonstrate leadership in sustainable business practices.
